Searching
The search screens allow you to search comenplay.com using the following search types:
- PEOPLE
- CLUBS
- ACTIVITIES
- DIRECTORY
- ADVANCED SEARCH
The different search types have various search criteria. These filters can be set to ‘ANY’ or ‘ALL’ or you can select a particular value, e.g. Activity to ‘Football’.
The can set any number of filters to values they require or leave them all set to their open default values. Any combination is valid, and the more specific the search criteria are, the more specific the results will be.
PEOPLE SEARCH
The search criteria are:
Activities The User may select any number of activities from the "CHOOSE ACTIVITIES" facility, or can check the ‘ANY’ box to choose all.
Location The User may select a location from the drop down list or use comenplay.com Proximity Searching to search within a specified distance of their postcode.
To search for activities in countries outside the UK the User selects "SEARCH ABROAD" and chooses from the drop down country list
Gender Select the gender of participants: FEMALE, MALE or BOTH.
Ability Level The User may select the ability level: BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED, PROFESSIONAL or ANY for all abilities.
After completing their search criteria the User clicks the "SEARCH" button. All available Members will be displayed that match the selected criteria. The User can then click on particular Member in the search results to view the Member Profile.
CLUB SEARCH
The search criteria are:
Activities The User may select any number of activities from the "CHOOSE ACTIVITIES" facility, or can check the ‘ANY’ box to choose all.
Location The User may select a location from the drop down list or use comenplay.com Proximity Searching to search within a specified distance of their postcode.
To search for activities in countries outside the UK the User selects "SEARCH ABROAD" and chooses from the drop down country list
Gender Select the gender of participants: FEMALE, MALE or BOTH.
Ability Level The User may select the ability level: BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED, PROFESSIONAL or ANY for all abilities.
After completing their search criteria the User clicks the "SEARCH" button. All available comenplay.com Clubs will be displayed that match the selected criteria. The User can then click on particular Club in the search results to view the Club Profile.
ACTIVITIES SEARCH
The search criteria are:
Club/ Individual: The User may select Activity Posts from an INDIVIDUAL, CLUB or BOTH
Activities The User may select any number of activities from the "CHOOSE ACTIVITIES" facility, or can check the ‘ANY’ box to choose all.
Location The User may select a location from the drop down list or use comenplay.com Proximity Searching to search within a specified distance of their postcode.
To search for activities in countries outside the UK the User selects "SEARCH ABROAD" and chooses from the drop down country list
When: The User may select a specific date or a time period (TODAY, TOMORROW, THIS WEEK, THIS MONTH)
Ability Level The User may select the ability level: BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED, PROFESSIONAL or ANY for all abilities.
Play/Watch: The User may specify Activities to PLAY or WATCH
After completing their search criteria the User clicks the "SEARCH" button. All available comenplay.com Activity Posts will be displayed that match the selected criteria. The User can then click on particular Activity Post in the search results to view the detailed listing and Activity Poster details.
DIRECTORY SEARCH
The search criteria are:
Activities The User may select any number of activities from the "CHOOSE ACTIVITIES" facility, or can check the ‘ANY’ box to choose all.
Location The User may select a location from the drop down list or use comenplay.com Proximity Searching to search within a specified distance of their postcode.
To search for activities in countries outside the UK the User selects "SEARCH ABROAD" and chooses from the drop down country list
Listing Category: The User may select a comenplay.com Directory Listing Category
After completing their search criteria the User clicks the "SEARCH" button. All available comenplay.com Directory Listings will be displayed that match the selected criteria. The User can then click on particular Listing in the search results to view the detailed listing.
ADVANCED SEARCH
The search criteria are:
Activities The User may select any number of activities from the "CHOOSE ACTIVITIES" facility, or can check the ‘ANY’ box to choose all.
Location The User may select a location from the drop down list or use comenplay.com Proximity Searching to search within a specified distance of their postcode.
To search for activities in countries outside the UK the User selects "SEARCH ABROAD" and chooses from the drop down country list
Profile/ Activity: The User may select PROFILES, ACTIVITIES or BOTH
Gender Select the gender of participants: FEMALE, MALE or BOTH.
When: The User may select a specific date or a time period (TODAY, TOMORROW, THIS WEEK, THIS MONTH)
Ability Level The User may select the ability level: BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED, PROFESSIONAL or ANY for all abilities.
No of people The User may specify the number of participants or select ANY.
Play/Watch: The User may specify Activities to PLAY or WATCH
Duration: The User may select the duration (1 hour, 2 hours, Half a day, All day or Longer than a day)
Save search: The User may save the search criteria to be repeated or reviewed.
After completing their search criteria the User clicks the "SEARCH" button. All available comenplay.com Profiles and Activity Post will be displayed that match the selected criteria. The User can then click on particular Listing in the search results to view the detailed listing.
